There’s a certain type of dog owner who refuses to accept that beautiful and practical are mutually exclusive. The Chelsea was made for them.
Crafted in 630gsm heavy bouclé, the outer cover is more than double the weight of standard bouclé — chosen for the way it holds its texture, drape, and depth through wash after wash. Finished with a discreet YKK zip and our Mr Tobias logo at the gusset, every detail is considered, enduring, and quietly confident.
Beneath the cover sits a deep, structured foam mattress, designed to provide lasting support and comfort. A pressure-distributing base is topped with a memory foam layer that softens gradually to your dog’s shape and weight.
A waterproof mattress protector sits between the cover and mattress, ensuring what’s underneath stays pristine. When life happens, the cover simply zips off, goes into a 30°C machine wash, and returns looking exactly as it should. Additional covers will be available soon.
Available in four sizes and three interior-led colourways, The Chelsea is backed by a one-year manufacturing warranty and our Dog Happiness Guarantee: if your dog doesn’t love it within 30 days, we’ll refund you in full and ask you to donate the bed to a local rescue.

All Mr Tobias beds are backed by a 12-month manufacturer's warranty that covers faults in materials or workmanship.
This does not include wear and tear, chewing, or damage caused by pets or improper care.

Returns
- 30-day returns on unused, unopened beds.
- Opened or lightly used beds may qualify for a full refund through our Donation Refund Programme when donated to a registered local shelter, with valid proof of donation (receipt, signed photo, or shelter confirmation).
- Faulty or incorrect items are replaced free of charge.

Because we are a growing brand, if we don’t yet have an affiliated shelter near you, please share your nearest registered rescue and we’ll do our best to approve it.

Our sizing is intentionally generous.
This means:
- Medium breeds often fit in a Small or Medium
- Labradors fit comfortably in a Large
- Golden Retrievers fit beautifully in an XL

How to Measure Your Dog
- Measure your dog from nose to tail base while lying down.
- Add 20–30 cm for comfort and movement.
- Choose the size that best suits your dog’s sleep style:
- Curled-up sleepers: opt for a snugger fit
- Stretch-out sleepers: choose a larger size
If between sizes, consider your space at home and your dog’s preferred sleeping position. Our beds do run large, so please ensure you measure your space and dog before ordering.
