Our beds are built with a layer of memory foam on a support foam base, designed to help joints, reduce pressure and maintain shape over time.
The cover is made from durable, upholstery-grade fabric that’s soft, textured, and designed to blend beautifully into modern homes.
Is the cover washable?

Yes — all covers are fully removable and machine-washable.
We recommend washing on a gentle cycle in warm water and air-drying.

Note - our sizes are intentionally generous. If your dog is between sizes we recommend sizing down, depending on their preferred sleep style.

- Measure your dog from nose to tail base while resting
- Choose a bed at least 20–30 cm longer than your dog
- If between sizes, pick the one that matches your dog’s preferred sleep style (curled up → smaller; stretched out → larger)
Tip: Our beds are generous in size — most dogs fit comfortably in a size smaller than expected.

Our Sizing Philosophy
Our sizing is intentionally generous.
This means:
- Medium breeds (Cavapoos, Cocker Spaniels) often fit in a Small or Medium
- Labradors fit comfortably in a Large
- Golden Retrievers fit beautifully in an XL
We’ve chosen this approach so your dog can enjoy the full supportive benefit of the orthopaedic foam and high bolsters.

Please measure your dog and space to ensure the bed is the right size before placing your order, as beds can only be returned if unopened.
If you’re between sizes, we normally suggest sizing up for extra comfort.

If you need to adjust or cancel your order, contact us as soon as possible. We’ll do our best to help, but we can’t guarantee changes once an order has begun processing.

For hygiene and safety reasons, beds must be unopened and unused to be eligible for a return within 30 days of delivery.
If you’ve opened the bed and want to make a return, we kindly ask that you donate it to a local dog shelter instead.
To start an opened return, send us an email at hello@mrtobias.co.uk to notify us before you donate the bed. We can help you find an appropriate shelter in your area.
Shelters are unable to accept beds that are dirty, damaged or heavily worn, so please ensure the item is in suitable condition before donating.
Share a photo or receipt from the shelter confirming the donation, and we’ll process your refund in full. It’s a simple way to reduce waste and support dogs in need.

Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility unless your item arrives damaged or faulty. If something isn’t right, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos.

Once we’ve received and inspected your return, refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

The easiest way to get a different size is to return an unopened bed or donate an opened bed for a full refund, then order the new size.

Weekly or monthly depending on use. Dogs who shed heavily or sleep outdoors may require more frequent washing.

The foam insert should not be machine-washed. It’s protected by a water-resistant inner liner and can be spot-cleaned with a damp cloth if needed.

All covers are fully removable and machine-washable.
We recommend washing at 30°C on a gentle cycle, closing all zips, and air-drying to maintain the fabric’s look and feel.
Warranty & Repair

Is the bed chew-proof?
No dog bed is fully chew-proof. Our covers are durable, but damage from chewing is not covered under warranty.

Yes. All Mr Tobias beds are covered by a 12-month warranty against manufacturing faults and defects. This includes issues with stitching, zips, seams or foam integrity that occur under normal use.
What’s not covered?

Normal wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse, chewing, staining or damage caused by pets are not covered under warranty.

If you believe your item has a manufacturing fault, please contact us with photos and your order number. We’ll review your claim and arrange a repair, replacement or refund where appropriate, in line with UK consumer regulations.
